More Ezine Articles Published

Several more articles have now been published on EzineArticles.com which is the leading articles directory and a great tool for reaching researchers and Google. I find most folks think of sticky buns only in relation to serving with coffee or tea or for a breakfast bread. Such limited thinking! Many occasions call for something really special and unique. My gourmet variations lend themselves very nicely to this need. The articles are in the Food and Drink section under headings such as Desserts, Coffee, Tea, Weddings, Showers, etc.

New Resources and Links

Our website now has a new "Resources/Links" section on the gray bar across the top of the Home Page. You will find notes about or links to vendors, equipment, tools or accessories I have found or made that I am enjoying using.

Great Source for Fresh Spices

If you use spices, and who doesn't, you may be delighted to discover this vendor. Check out their website at www.penzeys.com The great catalogue they send out periodically has a wonderful selection of sweet and savory spice items that you will find significantly more effective than the spices available through the local grocer since they are fresh!

In that vein, I tried something different on my turkey over the holidays. After putting the traditional sage bread stuffing into the bird, I massaged some soft butter onto the skin and then patted on fresh rosemary. The resulting meat was so incredible, we could not believe we had never tried this before. Give it a try! If you live where you have an actual 'winter', you could grow a small rosemary plant indoors in a pot.

New Ezine Article

We've just had a new article published on EzineArticles.com regarding the difference between cinnamon buns and sticky buns. So many people confuse the two so I thought this was worthwhile writing. It is listed under the Food heading.

After much searching, I have finally found a commercial kitchen to share. The owner has a carry out and deli operation for Italian foods which is called "O'Steeni's". This will give me a good venue for baking in volume as I develop my wholesale client base. I will shortly begin looking for some help for that enterprise.

I met a great gal named Michele Fellows who has a wonderful baking business directed at those who have food allergies. Check out www.sweetalexis.com if you have this challenge in your life. I have tried several items she produces and they truly are incredible!

I will have some of my "gourmet" sticky buns auctioned off at a fund raiser for the Pacific Repertory Opera at the PAC at the Cohan Center here in San Luis Obispo on January 30th.
I'm so pleased to have been invited!

New brochures are coming together nicely, which will be great for marketing purposes.

Hi Everyone and Welcome

I've been baking all kinds of goodies for decades. I've always felt my specialty was the many various kinds of Sticky Buns I made, and so did my family and friends. So after all of them prodding me for years to sell my Sticky Buns publicly, I finally went into business last year. I built myself a website, and started a national advertising campaign on Google (on a very limited budget), just before last Thanksgiving. I'm overjoyed to tell you I've gotten over 50 orders for Sticky Buns since then, and my customers say they are thrilled with what they got. Below are some pictures of the Sticky Buns I sell on my website.

Orange/Almond

Please visit my Web Site also at Grandma Brown's Sticky Buns.com; and if you have any suggestions or advice for me, I'd love to hear from you.
